"Horizons" artwork is inspired by a visit to the 'Door of No Return' on Île de Gorée in Senegal. Our woman is lost in thought as she stands in the breeze of waters that carried away lives from loves, to unimaginable futures.

The writing on the wall next to her - I Am The Dream and the Hope (from Maya Angelou's Still I Rise poem), reminds us that without the strength and survival of our stolen ancestors, we would not be here today.

We owe it to them to live our lives fully, with love, and making the most of our freedoms. This artwork serves to remind us every day.
